Wage: £192/Week

Start date: ASAP

Apprenticeship courses available: Business Administration, Level 3

Our client is a primary school-centred initial teacher training provider working in close partnership with schools in Tower Hamlets and Newham. They share a common goal, which is to provide exceptional opportunities for the children and communities they serve.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • To respect confidentiality at all times
  • To carry out administrative duties for the school office including taking messages, returning phone calls/email and dealing with enquiries on their behalf
  • To ensure that visitors are welcomed to the school in a polite, friendly & efficient manner
  • To attend meetings with the office and take minutes as required
  • To be responsible for creating and maintaining effective filing systems in the office and filing documents as required
  • To type up notes, produce best copies of documents, scan and photocopy as necessary
  • To be committed to the school, its inclusive ethos and equal opportunities for all in the school community

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • English and Maths GCSEs A-C or level 2 equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of English, both written and verbal
  • Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship (desirable)
  • Experience or knowledge of administration through work experience, college or employment
  • Data entry experience
  • The ability to take and follow instruction and have a flexible approach to work
