Sawmill Operative

Responsive Personnel are seeking Sawmill Operatives to join our client who are in the timber business. You will be heavily involved in a variety of tasks around the site.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Preparing cutting machines
• Using pressing machines to build frames & joists.
• Using a variety of hand tools
• Moving heavy loads of wood around the site.
• Training opportunities are available for the right candidates.

Key Skills and requirements:

• Have good attention to detail
• Be comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment
• Be willing and keen to learn.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Time management skills as deadlines need to be met.

Hours - 08:00 - 16:30. Monday - Friday.

Pay - £10.42 per hour.

Location - Swindon and surrounding areas

Terms - Temp.

Start date - ASAP
