Saw Operative
Working with a busy and rapidly expanding manufacturer of non-ferrous metals, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Saw Operative to join the team on a permanent basis working 8am- 5pm Monday-Friday. Experience working with saws/band cutters is essential (wood or metal)
The company is based on the outskirts of Reading so own transport is essential.
Salary & Benefits:
* £26,250 per annum
* Monday-Friday
* 8am-5pm
* On site free parking
Duties:
* Measuring materials accurately
* Lifting and Moving Materials
* Operating multiple machines simultaneously
* Ensuring safe working conditions in accordance to site standards
* Reporting to management with regards to Machine/material defects
* Loading and unloading of material
* Clearing and Cleaning of Machinery including blade replacement
Ideal Candidate
* Experienced using saws/band cutters (wood or metal)
* Works well under pressure
* Team Player
* Flexible in daily duties
