Do you have experience in the finance sector? Are you a specialist in Savings Products? We are looking to recruit a Savings Analyst for our prestigious client based in the Tunbridge Wells area. This role requires specialist knowledge of savings products in order to update customers of new products or changes to products. You will be responsible for liaising with customers, the savings team, compliance team and external providers including borrowers, auditors and more.

Duties of this position include:

  • Manage savings products, overseeing interest rate changes, and updating other departments
  • Notify savers about changes in interest rates, products, or terms, ensuring clear and timely communication of regulatory information
  • Maintain and update the website, including savings product, customer support, and FAQ pages
  • Develop and upkeep operating procedures and checklists to enhance efficiency within the Savings team
  • Advocate for new processes to improve quality and productivity
  • Stay informed about the financial organisation's onboarding and client due diligence checks, assisting in maintaining systems, product literature, and process guides/checklists
  • Contribute to defining and executing product strategy and new propositions
  • Support key risk, conduct, regulatory, and saver experience management initiatives
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, technology, and industry changes, sharing knowledge with the team
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the financial organisation's product suites, including processes, client types, commercial drivers, and regulations
  • Assist in managing risk for the financial organisation's products, including governance processes at launch, in-life, and end-of-life
  • Provide support for the production and changes to regulatory returns

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver new deposit and capital raising products or changes in line with the financial organisation's product development framework
  • Implement changes in deposit pricing, considering capital and liquidity needs, regulatory requirements, and conduct risk standards
  • Ensure marketing material enhances the financial organisation's profile and is up-to-date for existing deposits and new product launches
  • Support deposit and capital-gathering activities, building relationships with service providers and key depositors
  • Monitor trends in the UK's deposit and savings markets, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for action
  • Provide analysis and MI on new or changed savings products, aiding strategic decision-making
  • Produce, review, and maintain operating manuals, checklists, and savings literature, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Support projects related to deposit gathering and management, applying project management skills for efficient delivery
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial organisation's systems, including the core banking system, CRM, origination platform, website, and credit reference agencies
  • Support various tasks in the absence of the Savings Product Manager, such as SCV file production, HMRC returns, and audit requests
  • Develop expertise in regulatory frameworks, including BCOBS, COBS, FSCS, Financial Promotions, PRA Rulebook, Vulnerable Customer, Consumer Duty, and AML/JMLSG
  • Contribute to the ownership of communicating product changes to savers, colleagues, deposit aggregators, and third-party listing sites
  • Support continuous efforts to maintain and leverage a robust dataset

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within banking and have savings product knowledge. You will be a self-starter, able to work to deadlines and work in line with company compliance including FCA guidelines and Anti Money Laundering frameworks.
