The protection of SAP systems, as mission-critical applications, is becoming a priority for the most relevant organizations all over the world. IBM Security considers that the security of SAP systems is key to many of our clients in these uncertain times, where hackers are seeing SAP as a ready target to perform successful attacks.

As the UKI SAP Security Lead, you will be a key advisor for IBM clients, analysing business requirements and problems to identify, design and oversee the implementation of the leading SAP Security solutions for their needs.

You will apply your SAP Security skills to find the balance from the technical security and compliance perspectives, helping our clients to secure their critical SAP applications, ensuring regulatory compliance and developing industry-leading services.

  • Identifying SAP security opportunities alongside our sector leads and client-facing partners
  • Pursuit of SAP security opportunities
  • Developing SAP security proposals, both proactive and in response to market activity
  • Preparation of technical SAP Security proposals
  • Perform technical solutioning for SAP Security requirements
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of SAP Security services provided by the delivery team
  • Lead implementations and provide support to the delivery team when needed
  • Become a focal point / trusted advisor for IBM clients in SAP Security domain
  • Development of offerings, methodologies/point of view about innovative technologies/services
  • Leads the UKIs and play a significant role in long-term IBM’s SAP Security strategy and operational excellence

Professional Expertise / Profile
  • Extensive SAP Security professional experience in several Life Cycles.
  • Must have led multiple SAP Security projects, covering all the implementation phases.
  • Big4/leading SI consulting experience, including business development
  • Experience working in both delivery and project management fields.
  • Experience in developing and overseeing the delivery of project deliverables with high standards of quality.
  • Motivation to develop and lead the UKI SAP security market
  • Proactive attitude and self-learning skills.


Background / Skills
For the SAP Security portfolio, it would be desirable to have experience in the following areas and SAP Security solutions:

SAP Access Management: SAP GRC Access Control, Identity & Access Management, Identity and Access Governance (inc Cloud, Cloud Bridge), SoD Models & Implementations, Greenlight AVM

SAP Authentication: Single Sign-On 3.0, SAP Authenticator, Integration with Active Directory / LDAP / SSO solutions, SNC and other secure protocols using SAP Cryptographic Library

CCM (Continuous Control Monitoring) for SAP: GRC Process Control, BIS (Business Integrity Screening), Creation of custom-made automatic controls (ABAP, HANA, SLT, SDI, SDQ)

SAP Security hardening: SAP Security Baseline, BASIS and NetWeaver, SAP best practice security configuration, vulnerability management for SAP, SAP Solution Manager in the Security domain, SAP FRUN for Security.

SAP-SIEM integration: SAP ETD (Enterprise Threat Detection) implementation and configuration, understanding of market SIEM/SOAR solution.

DevSecOps in SAP: SAP ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit): SAP CVA (Code Vulnerability Analyzer): SAP Solution Manager (CCLM, CharM, BPMon)

SAP Data Privacy: ILM (Information Lifecyle Management), UI Logging/Masking, DRTM for SAP SuccessFactors, GDP, SAP HANA encryption

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CISA and CISM certification
  • SAP Security certifications
  • Fluent English ( * written and oral communication )
Additional details to be noted:

Please note candidates applying to this position need to live and work in the UK at the time of application. This is a Hybrid working role with the expectation for travel - 2 days a week to the client site or office.
