£55,000 to £60,000 + Car Allowance (10%) + Double OTE - Uncapped + Excellent Benefits

One of the UK's largest companies and a household name in business process outsourcing is recruiting new business sales professionals, software sales business developers with experience of selling software into the Public Sector or Local or Central Government. You will have experience of the sales cycle into these sectors as will you have knowledge of selling software ideally financial and/or procurement software.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

The new business software sales person will:

> The position will focus on creating opportunities for the company's financials & procurement software solutions focussing on public and Government sectors which have been previously identified as target markets.

> Additionally, they will be responsible for providing the company with information regarding the key issues on an on-going basis as well as working with the Marketing team to ensure that marketing activity is properly focussed.

> Prospecting the marketplaces and identifying opportunities.

> Completing new business tender documentation, undertaking presentations and managing the sales cycle to completion including the construction of the contract.

> Sales Planning & Forecasting and general sales administration.

Essential Skills & Experience

The new business software sales person will have:

> Experience of Software sales into Finance and/or Procurement departments working at 'C'- level.

> A proven track-record in one, or more, of Social Housing or Education or NHS markets - minimum of 2-3 years.

> Knowledge and experience in the Public sector procurement cycle, rules, processes and procedures

> A good 'general' understanding of the structure and overall objectives of the chosen markets Education or Health or Social Housing

> Closure of complex deals exceeding £350K including licences & consultancy

> Able to manage multiple opportunities

> Accomplished at initial sales meetings and meeting the client

> Able to self-generate leads from cold calling

> Intelligent in determining a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable.

> Able to work with colleagues to decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client's needs
