Role overview:
You will be responsible for selling Logistics Reply's solution suite into predominantly net new accounts within the UK. The suite includes solutions for Warehouse Management (WMS), a Supplier Portal ('Scan & Despatch'), Dock Scheduling, Yard Management, Hub and Network, Resource Planning, Last Mile, Dropship (Supplier-Direct Fulfilment), In-Store Picking, Store Logistics (RFID) and End-To-End Visibility. Logistics Reply's solutions are recognised in Analyst reports such as Gartner (WMS and Yard Management) and Nucleus Research. Responsibilities:
  • To identify and engage potential clients through various channels. Utilize marketing leads, industry events, and networking to build a pipeline of prospects in our target industries.
  • To develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to our solutions. This involves understanding market trends, competitor analysis, and positioning the software effectively to different segments.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers. Focus on understanding their business challenges and objectives to effectively position our solutions.
  • To manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact, through coordination and compilation of RFx responses, facilitating demonstrations and presentations through to negotiation and closing. This includes developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, following up on leads, and meeting and preferably exceeding sales targets / quotas.
  • To collaborate and work closely with other teams within Logistics Reply UK and the wider Logistics Reply and Reply Group including marketing, consulting, product development, support and Legal to support the sales process and to be the voice of the customer within Logistics Reply.
  • To oversee the account management for new clients to ensure successful software implementation and adoption. Collaborate with our customer success team to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

About the candidate:
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies that align with both the company's goals and the client's needs. This includes understanding the sales process, from prospecting to closing, and being adept at navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with prospects and clients. This involves being personable, trustworthy, and able to connect with people at various levels within an organization, from operational staff to key decision-makers.
  • A good understanding of our market and its industry trends. This includes knowledge about competitors, understanding the unique challenges faced by potential clients, and being aware of how technological advancements can impact our customers
  • Experience of selling Warehouse Management systems and associated Supply Chain Execution systems preferably from a Gartner MQ recognised Vendor.
  • 5+ years' experience with success selling enterprise-level, complex software opportunities including SaaS, License and Service sales components with consistent quota achievement of a £1m+ quotas.
  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in a Business or Technology-related field
