Sales Ledger/ Cash Allocation Clerk

Brentwood

  • Raising and sending out invoices
  • Setting up new customers and making amendments as needed
  • Checking accounts are credit checked and have a limit applied
  • Ensuring the account details, contract and relevant documents are saved correctly
  • Contacting customers regarding payment discrepancies
  • Answering customer calls regarding invoice queries
  • Shared management of the email inbox for credit control and sales ledger

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience working in a finance environment
  • Some knowledge / experience of sales ledger, credit control, cash allocation would be preferable
  • Ability to input data accurately, work to deadlines, prioritise workload are important qualities that will be required.
  • Good excel skills
  • Working as part of a friendly and lively Credit Control and AR department
