We are seeking an energetic and tenacious sales professional who would be capable to grow and develop existing accounts in the UK market but also target the untouched channels; new business opportunities with big retailers in and outside of the UK! You'll be the face of the retail and wholesale division – attending prestigious exhibitions and fairs to maximise and grow our client base.

BASIC SALARY: £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Executive / Business Development Manager / Field Sales – Gift and Publications to FMCG, Retail and Wholesale Markets  

Our Sales Executive is a vital part to our small business model. You'll need to be self-sufficient and able to focus and plan your sales activity without us structuring your daily KPI’s. Your activity will consist of warm and cold calls from our CRM, arrange and attend sales meetings, represent the business at key expo’s and trade fairs, with occasion travel overseas. 

In return we offer a great portfolio of niche gift and publication products and excellent service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Executive / Business Development Manager / Field Sales – Gift and Publications to FMCG, Retail and Wholesale Markets   

Working as the Sales Executive you will be responsible for:   

· Maintaining and growing existing accounts by building relationships with key decision makers and ensuring satisfactory service and account management from the rest of the business.

· 60% of the role will focus on new business generation.

· Spotting opportunities within the market, researching new channels and optimising your network at expos and trade fairs.  

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Executive / Business Development Manager / Field Sales – Gift and Publications to FMCG, Retail and Wholesale Markets  

Our Sales Executive will need the following skills and experience:

· Demonstrate previous sales success from a B2B market, ideally retail, gifting and wholesale. 

· Hold a full UK driver’s licence and be able to travel overseas when required, particularly the USA.

· Be motivated to succeed and deliver new business wins.

· Able to work as an individual in a small business and be highly organised and able to plan and structure all sales activity.

Established for over 50 years and currently going through major growth due to our online sales channel. We now want to focus on maximising the success of our unique gifting and publication products and need you to develop and grow our retail channels mainly in the UK and the US markets.
