Sales Executive, based in Newcastle
Basic salary between £16 - £21k dependent upon experience
My client is a national travel provider who have a specialist business travel division. They are currently expanding with additional investment and are now looking for a Sales Executive to join the business to business team and build their career.
This is a business to business sales role contacting companies who have a business travel requirement
Initially this is an internally based role and you'll be booking appointments for the field based Business Development Manager
Sourcing your own leads and inputting data onto a CRM system
Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am - 5:30pm It's expected that the role will grow and develop into a more of a field based sales position after 12 months or so.
We're looking for someone with outbound telephone based sales experience, either B2B or B2C or experience in working within the hospitality sector.
Great communication skills are essential as you'll be speaking to decision makers within all sizes of organisation to fact find and arrange an appointment
You'll be self motivated and able to source information yourself to develop leads
Travel industry experience isn't necessary but any exposure to that sector would be a benefit, including if you are a Business Travel Consultant looking to move into sales.
The basic salary would be between £16,000 and £21,000 depending on experience
Uncapped commission scheme which can be discussed at interview
