Due to continued growth they now require a Sales Executive/Account Manager to join the team
A proactive desk based tele account manager working as part of a regional sales team contributing to the growth of the region by building, converting and managing a pipeline of opportunities and providing customers with an enhanced agile pro-active sales experience.
- Customer contact to include outbound calls, emails, skype meetings and inbound calls to ensure all assigned customers receive an optimum level of contact and develop customer interest through a tele-sales approach which includes creative delivery of marketing collateral and sustainability information in the most appropriate format
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 500 contractors, both existing customers (including re-engaging with declining or lapsed customers) and new business prospects and through relationship building identify their needs and promote Interface products and solutions to drive growth.
- Responsible for providing specification support to a bank of approximately 1000 A&D accounts, responding to requests, facilitating enquiries e.g. for digital imagery or technical information and promoting Interface and creating interest in our product range
- Responsible for pricing all assigned accounts using pricing level guidelines
- Drive growth of accounts with the aim of developing some accounts to a level where they are then passed back to the field based account management team
- Maintain CRM to ensure all records for assigned accounts are accurate and informative with relevant contact information included
- Support the field based account managers within the region for quick turnaround requests e.g. quotations and pricing and react quickly to customer enquiries through the desk based hub phone number.
- Acting as a member of the regional sales team contribute to regional sales meetings, providing updates on activity and commercial and customer information
Scope of the role
- Desk based with a high level of outbound calling (often to warm accounts)
- 4 Internal Tele Account Manager roles + 1 Team Leader
- Working within an internal team with overall responsibility for an account ledger worth approximately £8million
- Individual account ledger of approximately 500 contractors and 1000 A&D
- Some travel required to attend regional sales meetings
- Reporting to Internal Tele-Account Team Leader and Regional Sales Director in a matrix structure
