Sales Executive

Main Responsibilities

  • Building a sales pipeline, tracking and managing the complete sales process end to end, from opportunity qualification to closure of new business
  • Communicating with in/outbound leads via multiple channels (phone, email and social media)
  • Collaborating closely with the members of the inside sales team on finding ways to improve team performance and exceed sales targets
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plan and strategies that will guarantee

achievement of target

  • Recording sales and order information to assist the business expansion
  • Give prompt reports on crucial issues to direct senior, suggest answers where obtainable
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
  • Advising on forthcoming service developments and discussing special promotions
  • Reviewing your sales performance to meet or exceed the monetary/volume targets set
  • Securing new business to meet or exceed the monetary/volume target set
  • Meeting or exceeding the monthly level of customer visits/calls as set by management
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
  • Feeding future buying trends back to the company
  • Any adhoc assignments as requested by management

Skills and Experience required:

  • Can demonstrate outstanding performance within a previous sales role
  • Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals
  • Previous experience in facing customers
  • Background in Freight Forwarding/Shipping/Logistics (beneficial)
  • Proficient communicator; verbal and written
  • Organisation skills
