Sales Engineer

Job Role: Sales Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Shift: 8:30am to 4:45pm Mon - Friday (1hr Break)
Salary: £25000-£35000+ (DOE)

Metalis is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Sales Engineer on a permanent basis

Job Duties:

• Liaising with customers and suppliers
• Updating of CRM system to maintain customer records and management of diary
• Identifying potential issues within the supply chain and actioning ad-hoc stock shortages
• Monitor and respond to customer email enquiries
• Maintain and grow current customer relationships
• Proactively seek out new business opportunities and convert into orders
• Utilising sales techniques in order to win new business
• Travel as and when required both internationally and locally. (May include overnight stays)
• Attending UK and global trade shows

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in either an engineering background or graduate from engineering
• Previous experience in Sales is advantageous
• All training will be given on their products
• May be able to accommodate work from home after probation but mainly office based
