Miles Recruitment are seeking a Sales Engineer for our long time exclusive client, based in Chippenham. Our client exports globally, working as a part of a larger umbrella of companies. This is a newly created position with a strong progression plan for the right person.

To be able to jump straight into this role as Sales Engineer and excel, we are looking for someone with 2+ years of sales experience and ideally has an engineering background or can at least demonstrate a strong technical bias. In this position as Sales Engineer, some of you main responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical support throughout the sales process.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to communicate customer requirements and provide feedback for product improvement.
- Your client base will predominately be in food, Pharma, aggregates and plastics
- You will be responsible for building up and maintaining the CRM system, so CRM & ERP experience is preferential.

When fully trained as Sales Engineer it is expected that approximately 40% of your time will be out visiting clients in the SW region. This position will eventually lead to new business sales, but initially, it will be working customers that have used our client in the past. This position will involve occasional international travel as you might visit clients abroad and you will certainly attend trade shows. Rotterdam in October is one for your diary!

What's in it for you?
