The Company

My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of turnkey packaging machinery solutions to the FMCG industry. With a worldwide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the waste solutions industry. Due to further expansion within the British & Irish market, they have the need to recruit additional field service engineers.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated Machinery
• Experienced in providing technical support to customers

The Role

My client is seeking a technical sales engineer with experience to sell end of line packaging equipment to the pharmaceutical and consumer product industries.

You will be working directly with the MD and sales manager who have generated 7-10 million in sales for the last 3 years, as the MD will be stepping back from Sales to focus in other areas of the business they are looking for someone who they can develop who will be able to generate new business as well as looking after existing accounts

Sales cycles are between 3 -6 month with equipment values of 250K- 1 million

Experience required

• Engineering sales experience in a sales engineer capacity
• Experience in identifying and converting sales opportunities through business development, sales exhibitions, and networking
• Willingness to travel to meet existing and future customers
