About the role
We have a brand new opportunity for a RPA Maintenance Support to join us at our Business Service Centre in Caerphilly, contributing to the continual success of our RPA (Robotic Process Automation) team. In this role, you will provide maintenance of RPA solutions to ensure that they constantly meet the standards and requirements of our users. This will primarily be done by managing and responding to tickets, communicating with colleagues to find optimal solutions and then educating end users so that they become more confident in problem-solving by themselves in the future.
We'll be asking you to work closely with your team so that you can develop your knowledge and skillset around RPA. Using the support of your colleagues, you'll lead investigations and detailed analysis of incidents with a strategic approach. You'll also be involved with User Acceptance Testing, Handover, and Hypercare processes.
Since being introduced to the business, the RPA team has provided significant value to Shared Service Centres throughout DS Smith, and this is an excellent chance to develop your own skillset as part of a high performing team!
About you
- IT Helpdesk Experience, ideally in a shared services environment
- Knowledge of RPA software would be desirable but is not required
- A logical thinker, with the ability to stay organised and prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills so that partnerships can be built with your teammates and users throughout DS Smith
- Ability to produce work to an excellent standard, always paying attention to finer details
