As the Hotel Revenue Manager you will define, implement and measure the pricing strategy for rooms, meeting spaces and all other revenue generating areas. You will provide regular forecasts, business reports and participate in the preparation of annual budgets with reporting into the Director of Sales and working with our experienced Sales Department team with consists of the Sales Manager, Revenue Consultant, Meetings & Events Manager and the Reservations Manager.

You must have analytical skills will also be key in the implementation and execution of strategies to maximise rev-par, set rates, develop promotional packages and make forecast recommendations in order to ultimately drive average rate, occupancy and revenue. On a day to day basis you’ll undertake a range of daily Revenue analysis duties, tracking pick up and reservations reports to manage rates accordingly along with ad hoc projects, competitor research and supporting the larger Sales Department as required by the Director of Sales.

With a meticulous eye for detail you will ensure that all information is impeccably accurate and in line with the Hotel Revenue policies and procedures. Immaculate communication skills are also required for this role as you will engage in dialogue with the Heads of Department Mangers in ensuring they understand current revenue strategies and promotions and how they affect their part of the business.

The ideal candidate will have the following Skills and Knowledge:

· Must have experience in a Hotel in a proactive Revenue Manager role.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with Clients and Heads of Department Managers.

· Analytical skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective Revenue strategies.

· Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and the hospitality industry.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

· Proactive and flexible attitude in a swiftly changing environment.

·Strong knowledge of the Hospitality Central London and Docklands market.

·Incredibly proactive, likes to be creative and has autonomy in self-discipline, with a passion for Revenue.

· Show a proven track record of performing high level of technical revenue management skills

·Have a working knowledge of Opera PMS system.

·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

·Positive and can-do attitude along with flexibility on working hours.

The main responsibilities for this role would include:

· Develop and execute strategic Revenue plans, aligning with overall hotel objectives

· Prepare and leading Revenue Meetings on a weekly basis

· Participating in preparation of monthly forecasts and assist in completion of budget preparation.

· Identifying trends, recommending growth efforts, monitors progress of current selling strategies and ensuring that each property is competitively positioned within local marketplace.

· Proactively manage inventory for both properties to maximize revenue derived from the room inventory.

· Ensure a consistent and rational hotel pricing and yield strategy across all channels (including OTA) and all segments according to the MOHG pricing philosophy, and in alignment with Regional and Corporate Revenue Management.

· Accurately prepare Monthly and Weekly Forecasts for all transient segments, group (based on feedback from Sales/Conference Services).

· Process all rate loading requests and accurately load in Synxis with regular checks of availability in line with yield strategies.

· Proactively provide and analyse data for the purpose of analyzing and evaluating pace, specific business segments, specific accounts, market segment mix, room type demand, channel production and geographical mix, recognizing trends and patterns.

· Support in analyzing transient demand, price sensitivity and booking patterns, recognize trends and their relevance to one another and provide pricing, inventory and selling strategy recommendations in alignment with Regional/Corporate Revenue Management.

· Preparing month-end critiques, discuss results and communicate to the Financial Controller and the Director of Sales.

· Support the day to day running of the Reservations office answering revenue related queries from the Reservations Manager.

· Stay abreast of industry innovations, emerging technologies, and evolving guest preferences to drive continuous improvement and innovation in corporate offerings.
