Restaurant Manager - From £30,000 per annum.

Location: Worcester, UK

Redwood Search’s esteemed client, a renowned hotel in Worcester, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and managing a dedicated team of staff.

The Role:

  • Overseeing the training and development of restaurant staff to ensure they provide excellent customer service.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective systems for managing reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborating with the hotel’s marketing team to develop promotional initiatives that drive revenue growth for the restaurant.
  • Managing food and beverage costs to maximise profitability while maintaining high-quality offerings for guests.
  • Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the restaurant and kitchen areas.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests, handling complaints effectively, and ensuring guest feedback is acted upon promptly.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless guest experiences across all areas of the property.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and employment laws.
  • Leading by example by demonstrating a positive attitude towards work, colleagues, and guests always.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a reputable hospitality establishment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience of managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of Food and Wine Pairing preferable.
