We are one of the largest housing associations in the North of England, managing over 38,000 homes across the region. At Together Housing, we are dedicated to providing safe and high-quality housing for our residents.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our team. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for carrying out all types of joinery work on both tenanted and vacant properties.

This will operate on a 10-6 shift pattern, with a 5.30pm finish on Friday.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing joinery repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with job tickets and specifications
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with building regulations
  • Organizing and managing workload effectively to minimize any delays or non-productive time
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Working collaboratively with other team members and contractors to ensure efficient use of time and resources

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A full UK driver's license
  • Extensive experience working as a joiner, including proficiency in various joinery techniques
  • Relevant qualifications in joinery (such as a City and Guilds certificate or NVQ Level 2)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
