We have an opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to join the team based in Desford, Leicestershire on a full time permanent basis. You will receive a salary of £22,800-£23,700 per annum.
Total Care Matters is a growing children’s homes provider based in the East Midlands and provide registered children’s homes for children between the ages of 8-17 years. All our existing children’s homes have recently been inspected by Ofsted and are rated as GOOD.
We have fantastic opportunities available for Residential Support Workers working from our beautiful children’s home in Leicestershire. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £15600-16500 per annum for Residential Support Workers with the potential of earning up to £7200 for additional sleep in shifts (£60 per sleep in).
The Residential Support Worker duties and key responsibilities:
- Personal care and domestic duties
- Accompanying young people to school and supporting them during the day as part of the team, night time sleeping-in duties
- Supervise and support young people in accordance with their personal plans
Our ideal Residential Support Worker will have the below skills and experience:
- Be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure
- Possess previous experience of working with children and young people, either paid or voluntary
- Hold a full UK driving licence
This role would suit an experienced Care Support Worker or Children’s Services Support Worker.
The hours of work for this Residential Support Worker role will be based on shifts and may include sleep-in's and weekend work.
We are also keen to recruit casual Support Workers on a bank basis. The hourly pay for this would be £8.00.
