Handyman/ Caretaker - City of London - Bethnal Green

£11.50+ p/h *Includes paid break*

Monday to Friday - 09:00-17:30


We are currently looking for a Handyman to join us in 5*, high end residential buildings in Bethnal Green- London on a temporary basis. You will have the luxury of working with one of the largest, award winning property management companies in the city of London. Our client offers shift flexibility, opportunities to go permanent and training!

As a Handyman/ Caretaker you will be expected to;

  • To inspect, on a daily basis, all internal and external common areas of the development and report any defects, repairs, security or health and safety concerns.
  • To undertake minor repairs such as adjusting doors, fixing door closures, changing light-bulbs, redecoration to communal areas, taking meter readings for communal and residential supplies and any other minor repairs requested.
  • To clean the communal areas of the development both internally and externally on a regular basis.
  • Undertaking emergency light flick tests/alarm tests.
  • To enter all relevant comments/details in the development logs.
  • Take out and collect bins.
  • Hoover & sweep.
  • Litter-picking.
  • Replace light bulbs and repairs (if necessary).
  • Ad hock tasks as instructed by management.
  • Keeping a daily log.
  • Correct reporting of any security/Health & Safety issues, incidents and complaints. Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency
