Part-Time Reservations Administrative Executive - 6 Month FTC

Birmingham City Centre

10:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday (Hybrid Working)

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking for a part-time opportunity with flexible hours? If so, we have a fantastic 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) opportunity for you to join our client's team as a Part-Time Reservations Administrative Executive, to support on a major project.

As a Part-Time Reservations Administrative Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing reservations and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the project. This position offers flexible working hours and a hybrid work arrangement, making it an ideal fit for those seeking work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first point of contact for the reservation related enquiries and queries, working to promptly respond to all enquiries and ensure that bookings are managed efficiently and professionally through the database.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into reservation systems.
  • Processing requests for accommodation with proactive attention to the needs of delegates.
  • Maintain records, files, and documents related to reservations, ensuring data is up to date on the booking systems
  • Provide administrative support, such as managing emails and answering telephone calls.
  • Booking room reservations, ensuring that reservations reports are completed weekly.
  • Communicate all changes and requirements regarding bookings to hotels.
  • Attendance at sports event in April 2024, being present both before and after the event to assist with with any issues that may arise from hotels or guests.
  • General administration duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, reservations based administrative role, essential
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including CRM systems, booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
