Fantastic opportunity for a highly capable and driven PhD graduate keen to secure a research position in a leading Biopharmaceutical organisation!

Working within a dynamic and friendly team of Research Scientists, you will be responsible for the development and running of biochemical screening assays to aid the discovery and characterisation of novel drug candidates. You will also design your own experiments, record your results and present them in departmental meetings and research groups. The laboratory contains state-of-the-art equipment and facilities and is a highly regarded industry organisation.

Applications are invited from candidates whom possess:

- PhD in Biochemistry (or related) or BSc/ MSc with relevant industry experience in drug discovery.

- Working knowledge of plate readers & fluorescence based technology

- Experience of fitting dose response data, IC50s & assay QC

- An understanding of basic pharmacology such as enzyme kinetics is desirable
