We are currently recruiting for exceptional Mental Health Nurses for Austen Ward, our Male PICU unit. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to extend their clinical skills.

As part of one of the UK’s largest independent providers of mental healthcare, Cygnet Hospital Wyke is a fantastic place to take your career forward. Cygnet Hospital Wyke is located just off J26 of the M62 and is easily reached from the major West Yorkshire cities of Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield and Leeds. The hospital is a gender specific hospital for men with mental illness who require emergency, acute or psychiatric intensive care. The hospital also provides a specialist locked service for older males with mental health difficulties.

Successful applicants will report to the Charge Nurse/Ward Manager, with an interest in working with service users with complex needs, using evidence-based interventions and be passionate about delivering highest quality standards of care.

Please note that advertised salaries are based on a 38.5 hour working week. We also offer 11, 22, 33 and 44 hour contracts, subject to the individual hospital’s availability. Please contact the Recruitment team for more details.
