Registered Manager

Are you an experienced Care Home Manager looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about ensuring the highest levels of care, compliance and governance are delivered in your home? We are currently seeking a CQC Registered Manager to join a well established, family run Care Home in North Staffordshire, catering to Older Adults.

Role:

Set in idyllic surrounds, this large, purpose built, award winning home has a CQC rating of Good and established Senior Management and Clinical Teams who work seamlessly to support each other. With specialist Dementia and Challenging Behaviour units, person centred care is always prioritised to ensure the highest standards are met at all times.

The main purpose of the role will be to provide strong leadership in a busy home, as well as to safeguard and promote the welfare of the residents, providing the highest quality of care in line with CQC standards. As a Registered Manager, you will work in collaboration with the Management team in ensuring the home meets all expectations in line with company values.

This is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Requirements:

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role and must be able to demonstrate the below:

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Pin (all disciplines considered)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent (working towards completion will also be considered)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a CQC Registered Manager
• Strong background working within elderly and dementia care
• Full understanding of relevant legislation, compliance and safeguarding procedures
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and management skills
• Previous experience and confidence in managing budgets
