Our client is a market leading academic publishing company and e-learning solutions provider with a portfolio of some of the World's most prestigious higher education institutions on their client list. As a result of continued growth and expansion, an outstanding opportunity now exists for a Regional Sales Manager to join this dynamic and forward thinking organisation to develop London and the South East.
This is a fast paced, challenging and rewarding role that will give you a significant opportunity to add value to the company and work closely with the Senior Management team. Key responsibilities are but not limited to: establishing a sales and market strategy to attain quarterly objectives, achieving sales growth in target markets, developing relationships with decision makers in universities and other academic institutions, attending client meetings, carrying out presentations, taking new products to market and driving revenue, formulating and sending out targeted marketing mailshots, negotiating terms of business, maintaining excellent customer service with key accounts, working towards sales targets and KPI’s and other ad hoc work as required.
The successful candidate will have proven consultative sales experience gained in a field based role ideally within the higher educational publishing industry. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
