Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)

Region: Stirling and Clackmannanshire

Role Overview:

Responsible for the delivery of employability training to clients both individually and in a group setting. This role plays a fundamental role in supporting clients to achieve personal and sustainable core employability skills and vocational skills development through delivering training, assessment, guidance, motivation and support.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Proactively contributes to the design of training material as per the contract/client requirements
  • Delivery and administration of contract
  • Employer engagement for work placements/jobs
  • Work with management to continuously improve the overall client experience
  • Deliver individual and group training specific to the provision contract
  • Assess candidate needs and support the development and completion of client action plans which reflect the steps required to progress successfully towards employment
  • Maintain a high standard of training and assessment and ensure performance targets are achieved
  • Prepare course training materials and supporting manuals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external organisations such as Job Centre Plus and other support agencies,
  • Ensure customers understand the requirements of their programme
  • Deploying an appropriate range of teaching and learning methods
  • Ensure safe working practices are adopted in compliance with relevant health and safety procedures
  • Lead and supervise the creation of learner CV’s and Job search activities
  • Attend training courses or events as required, maintaining own CPD
  • Provide aftercare support to clients as per the contract requirements
  • Maintain client confidentiality including storage of client information
  • Comply with data protection legislation
  • Attend company and project meetings when required
  • Contribute to the operation of the company Health and Safety policies
  • Adhere to company policy and procedures
  • Any other reasonable duties appropriate to the post

Education and Experience

  • Experience of recruitment of working with unemployed persons
  • At least 1 years' Employability training experience essential, employability fund delivery and sector training desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of the local labour market

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Good presentation and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage time and organise caseloads whilst working to strict targets
