Refrigeration Engineer
As part of the manufacturing team, the Refrigeration Engineer will be required to carry out assembly of refrigeration components, pipework installation, pressure testing, refrigeration charging, testing and commissioning of a variety of HVAC & Refrigeration equipment. They will follow work pack instructions and technical drawings to our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical fitting of components.
- Carry out pipefitting.
- Carry out brazing.
- Carry out pressure testing.
- Evacuate system and charging systems.
- Carry out leak testing.
- Commissioning and services of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.
- Carry out refrigerant recovery.
- Installation of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Completion of work pack documentation in line with work pack instructions.
- Cleaning and packaging of units for dispatch.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Requirement
- SVQ/NVQ III or Apprenticeship in relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
- F-Gas 2079 Category 1
- Abrasive Wheels
- CompEX Certification
- BS7671 Wiring Regulations
Experience
- Previous experience working as an apprentice refrigeration engineer
- Computer literate in Microsoft office packages
- Experience of Communicating technical requirements of the role with the line manager.
This position is Monday to Thursday 8-4pm and Friday 8-2pm with a salary of £43,000 p/a with a company vehicle
