Job Title: Recycling Operative

Location: Basildon

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Shift:7am to 4.30pm - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Sort and pick products/materials for recycling according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure proper segregation of recyclable materials to maximize efficiency and minimize contamination.
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the recycling process, following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the recycling area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

• Some experience within a warehouse/recycling environment is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately sort and identify materials.
• Good physical condition, as the job may involve lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 4.30pm, with optional Saturday morning overtime available.
