Job Title: Recruitment Team Leader

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 p.a (Plus OTE)

Located: Welwyn Garden City

Contract: Permanent / Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Team Leader to join an established independent Recruitment Consultancy in Welwyn Garden City. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of recruitment, including the allocation of work for Permanent placements. The main focus of this role will be to oversee candidate pipeline management and ensure optimal service delivery for all team activity is achieved on a daily basis. A passion for Excellent 'Customer Service’ is a must!

Primary duties will include:

* Lead all operational activity and allocation of resources across the team, with a view to meet team deliverables and individual career goals
* Organise the workflow across the team on a daily basis, ensuring full contingency plans are in place and key priorities are achieved at all times
* Plan for periods of increased activity through medium and short-term resource planning, ensuring optimum productivity across the office
* Provide leadership to the team, supporting new and existing team members with a view to improve skills, competence and improve overall individual performance
* Respond to service issues in a timely and constructive way, providing advice and guidance for speedy investigation & resolution
* Early identification of any challenges which may impact achieving targets & support - providing resolutions
* Analyse reports and interview activities with a view to identify if enough candidates are progressing, and what amendments could be made to impact the process
* Introducing new ways of working and monitor the implementation of any agreed changes
* Demonstrate proficiency and expertise in all systems used and transactions undertaken by the team, ensuring that the team KPI’s are met and exceeded at all times
* Undertake coordination and administration duties, as well as business development and marketing activities as and when required

* Conduct monthly 121’s, daily morning meetings and additional 121 support as and when needed

Skills / Experience Required:

* Strong leadership capability with proven experience as a Recruitment professional, or at a similar level with transferable skills
* Strong recruitment knowledge, specifically managing candidates within a pipeline working to KPIs and SLAs
* Strong administration capability with the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Working with data and producing management information as and when required
* Strong people management skills, with an interest in developing people and business as a whole
* Able to demonstrate a successful track record of process improvements and managing a successful team
* Degree level, or equivalent beneficial
