I am currently recruiting for a Receptionist to work for a company in the city centre of Cambridge on a permanent basis.
You will be required to provide a consistently high level of customer service to students, staff, families and visitors of the school through the provision of a professional and welcoming reception service.
Your key duties will be:
*Provide a welcoming, customer focussed reception service, ensuring the appropriate security checks are undertaken for all visitors
*Refer all issues / deviations from the school's safeguarding processes to HR for further investigation
*Deal with telephone calls in a welcoming, courteous and professional manner, liaising with senior leaders / staff members as required
*Administer the Federation's enquiries email account; ensuring communications are dealt with appropriately and in line with Federation procedures / protocols
*Operate an effective archive / folder structure for relevant emails and response
*Liaise with senior leaders / staff members to ensure enquiries and complaints to the school are handled in an appropriate manner, allow for the correct line of escalation and are replied to in a timely manner
*Ensure messages forwarded to staff are clear and concise and done so in a timely manner
*Correspond with families / third parties through the provision of high quality letters / e-communications
*Deal with any local incoming and outgoing mail; ensuring large items are dealt with by the site team as soon as possible
Key skills and competencies:
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Ability to tailor approach and response to different situations
*Good IT skills particularly Microsoft Office products
*Accuracy and attention to detail
*Committed to providing a high level of customer service
*High level of integrity to maintain confidentiality / deal with privileged information
*Previous reception or administrative experience
You can expect a salary of 15,797 (£16,781 pro rata), 40 hours a week, 39 weeks plus 5 training days
