My industry-leading client have experienced huge growth in the last couple of years and are in the midst of moving from start-up to a very sizeable company, with a one-of-a-kind product that is definitely at the forefront of its industry.

Having already built a team of some of the most brightest, smartest Engineers in the local South Yorkshire area.. we're now after more Engineers to join them to be a part of their evolution ..

First up, we need a Senior React.JS Engineer to spearhead the development of a range of brand NEW applications.. And this is where you come in!

They operate within an incredibly complex sector, so you'll need to be the sort of Dev who can think fast and work smartly in a busy, fast-paced environment where requirements can often change at a moments notice..

Their Tech Stack?

So, their highly scalable, market-leading web based platform is built mainly around the NodeJS ecosystem and this is the foundation of their applications. Whilst it is NodeJS backend, it uses React.js for the Front-End with super complex business logic written in SQL stored procedures.

Your role will be to work purely on the front-end of the platform using React.js heavily - designing and implementing complex, efficient and lightweight front-end components for the companies range of web applications. Their architecture follows a "thin-client approach" where all business and data logic are handled within Sql Server Stored Procedures.

As Senior React Engineer your role will be to seamlessly integrate back-end driven functionalities into their React components by consuming JSON data (Leveraging React Hooks, including useMemom useREF and useEffect. Its important you understand thin client developments as you will lead the development of Front-end components here and the role will be heavily focused on performance optimization (leveraging React hooks and Bootstrap flexbox!)

You'll have a good understanding of n-tier architectures too where API communication is used between front and back-end and with external systems. Naturally you will be a JavaScript enthusiast with experience of ES6+ and you'll be well versed in modern, front-end technologies and libraties. You'll also bring a solid background in UI/UX Design and you'll have the ability to create beautiful, visually appealing user experiences!

Knowledge of Azure, or NodeJS wouldn't go a miss either. Or even better - Cypress or Selenium Web Driver on the QA side!

You'll not only bring top-notch technical React/JavaScript capability to this role, but you'll also have the ability to steer technical direction of projects… Sometimes make those decisions that are crucial to the business and ultimately the overall success of this platform! You'll be a seasoned, confident and knowledgeable React / JavaScript Engineer… At the top of your game… No drama, no nonsense. You'll be a real thinker who can investigate how to get the best of the Front-End and then implement the solution.

They're not standing still when it comes to tech - the roadmap includes AI, chatbot and product 2.0 rewrites.

Up to £60,000 plus benefits. You can work from their offices close to Sheffield or from home - we are pretty flexible.
