Are you passionate about guiding students on their spiritual and academic journeys? Do you have a deep understanding of religious principles and a knack for imparting knowledge with enthusiasm and clarity? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Religious Studies Teacher to join our team until the end of July. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Religious Studies to students across various age groups and abilities.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged to explore and express their beliefs.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Religious Studies or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sharing it with others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning.
  • Previous experience teaching Religious Studies is desirable but not essential.
