Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure
Client-side
Up to £55,000 + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable client-side organisation in Norwich. You will be involved in major infrastructure projects that have a huge impact in the community!

About you:
You'll be a keen and articulate communicator, managing your stakeholders and driving contractual excellence within your portfolio.

You will be a self-starter, will have worked independently, managed difficult conversations and ultimately delivered results. You will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management (or similar), or be qualified by experience with NEC 3 & 4 experience being advantageous.

What's on offer?
As a QS, you will be empowered to work more autonomously to lead and support the team in delivering a portfolio of work ensuring compliance and adherence on contract.

You will have exposure to the end-to-end contract management lifecycle from working with category managers on tender events to ensuring contracts are fit for signature through to successful delivery by managing and tracking compensation events, early warnings, and handling the risk register.

You'll be working for a manager that understands there is a life outside of work and at times, working in construction isn't just 9-5. As long as your projects are on time and on budget, you'll have the flexibility to do the things you need to do.

Wherever you work from, you'll be in a prime position to work your way up in the growing team. If you've got your eyes on a senior role and beyond, this can be your route there.

Additional benefits:

  • A competitive basic salary dependent on experience and capability
  • A bonus of up to 6%
  • 26 days' holiday plus statutory holidays - option available to buy extra holiday days
  • A enhanced pension scheme contribution
  • Paid expenses for any business travel and accommodation
