Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a professional Chartered Quantity Surveying and Project Management practice based in the City of London due to continued growth, they now require another Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The successful candidate will be working on projects within the heritage, educational sector with some occasional one-off residential projects.

Private practice experience will be required, ideally coming with a smaller practice. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be Chartered with the RICS, although this is not essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be paramount due to the nature of the role, as will good IT skills. Due to the nature of the role, it is important that the candidate is capable of running their own projects. Previous experience working on education and heritage buildings will also be beneficial. Specific day-to-day duties will be discussed as required.

• MRICS status desirable or in the process of achieving chartership status
• Relevant degree
• Private practice experience
• Capable of working on numerous projects simultaneously
• Good IT skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• History of good tenure
