The Company

Exclusively working with a Flagship Main Contractor based in the West Midlands. We are looking to recruit for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Birmingham office on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the top 20 UK contractors who are Investors in People and are passionate about promoting from within.

The role
In your new job as a Quantity Surveyor you will initially manage 3-4 sites simultaneously and take overall accountability and responsibility for the Commercial aspects of the developments.

Duties include Assisting in training of Assistant Quantity Surveyors.

Experience
You will have a proven track record of working for and taking commercial responsibility for projects or developments within a housing developer or main contractor. You will be highly organised and able to work well under pressure, you will be motivated, ambitious with an eye for detail.

The Lead Quantity Surveyor has just been promoted to Senior Quantity Surveyor after 18 months. This leaves an exciting OPPORTUNITY for the right individual. You must be commercially aware, motivated and want to develop and climb the career ladder.
