Company client is on the lookout for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee our client's regulated industries portfolio in Aberdeen. This is a chance to be part of a team that's at the forefront of delivering top-notch services.
Overview:
As a quantity Surveyor, you'll be the go-to person for all things contract-related. From spotting and handling Early Warning and Compensation Event notices to ensuring everything is up to scratch with the Planning Department, your days will be filled with variety and challenge. You'll also be instrumental in advising the departments on their contractual duties and drawing up Applications for Payment that are in line with the NEC method or framework.
But it's not just about the contracts. You'll play a pivotal role in financial forecasting, preparing cost and value reports, and analyzing everything from prelims to subcontract costs. Plus, you'll get to flex your negotiation skills, manage cash flow, and help out with cash collection when needed.

Requirements:
What do we need from you? At least three years of experience in a similar role, a solid understanding of NEC3 contracts, and proficiency in CEMAR and SAP. If you've got experience in the Pharma sector or carrying out dispute resolution, that's a bonus, but not a deal-breaker. And if you're a member of a Professional Institution like MRICS, even better!
