Our client, a large manufacturing company are looking for a Quality/Test Manager to join their team, to start in November. The role is based around projects so hours of work will fluctuate dependent on the project plan.

The quality/test manager will guarantee the quality of the project products. The quality manager will develop a test strategy which will include which tests will be relevant at what time, who will carry out the tests and whether to use a tool. The role will involve delivering a structured testing process that ensures quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, defect handling and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.

Responsibilities

•Responsible for the quality of the products being delivered

•Develop a test strategy and plan appropriate for the projects complexity and criticality

•Develop test cases a well-defined, documented series of steps to executive a specific business function in a system including details of expected results

•Lead a testing team to execute test cases

•Manage defects

•Sign Off on the Testing Phase

Success Criteria

•All reported defects are successfully resolved in the product

•The product meets the project quality objectives
