Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Northamptonshire

Salary: £30k - £35k

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Onsite Monday -Friday 8am -4pm)

The Role

A fantastic opportunity to join an existing Quality Team as a Quality Engineer. You will be responsible to collect and analyze all quality related data and take first line containment actions in order to deliver services to the automotive clients and enhance customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Collect, compile, and sort client specific data

  • Analyze and gain insight on delivered products, potential quality issues, customer satisfaction

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative feedback based on KPI follow-up & analysis

  • Deliver customer support in terms of analysis, short term containment actions in case of quality issues including Regular Site Visits

  • Ensure customer assistance and higher customer satisfaction

  • Provide specifically all facts and data about claims to the plants, and guarantee a good relationship with the customer plant

  • Monitor and follow-up QSHE procedures and guidelines in area of responsibility

  • Create and enforce desired QSHE attitude

The Candidate

  • Basic Knowledge of IATF / ISO 9001

  • 8D and Problem solving

  • Good communication skills

  • Good Negotiation skills

  • Customer oriented

  • Full Drivers Licence
