Quality Control & Warehouse Operative

Quality Control and Warehouse Operative - Permanent - Maldon - up to £24,000 per annum

** Own transport essential due to location

We are seeking applicants from a warehouse or quality control background within electronics or those who are keen to begin their career within this area and who are keen to join a rapidly expanding and forward thinking business on a permanent basis.

Working within the QA department you will be responsible for QA inspection of all items before despatch.

Duties:
Handling components and picking and packing components.
Ensuring that all components are marked correctly and identifying defective components.
Updating computer system with QA findings, responding to any issues that may arise from suppliers, customers or internally.
Allocating goods to the relevant order on the company system.
You will also be expected to learn warehouse locations to be able to cover holidays or as required.
Ensuring the workplace remains tidy and organised and adhering to health and safety at all times.

The Person:
Excellent attention to detail as you will be working with part numbers
Must be computer literate
A team player with strong communications skills as you will be liaising with internal departments on a daily basis

Additional information:
Full training will be given for right applicant.
Due to location own transport essential.
37.5 hours per week - Monday - Thursday : 8.30 am - 5 pm / Friday 9 am - 3 pm
Company bonus based on business performance
