How would you like to work for a very well established company based in Glasgow Hillington as a Quality Control Operator?  Working Part Time with twilight shifts only available on a fixed shift rota plus immediate starts, permanent job opportunities, and an onsite canteen this is a fabulous offering for an experienced Quality Control Operator!

Daily duties:
  • Ensure components are manufactured to required standard.
  • Inspect/Assemble components and products to the required quality standards and customer specification.
  • Ensure products are assembled and packed correctly as per the BOM’s, drawings and customer specific requirements. (Notify supervision of any discrepancies).
  • Undertake training as required.
  • Maintain acceptable performance levels.
  • Identify and recommend improved methods of work, effectiveness and efficiency via supervisor and departmental communication.
  • Check product codes, Customer order codes & bar codes are correct when scanning or setting up bagging machine products.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to cover in other departments and duties within the factory as required.
  • Carry out process audits to demonstrate compliance.
This role is based in Glasgow 10 min away from the city centre - great transport links in this area!

Please note that only candidates with relevant manufacturing experience will be considered for this position.

Following a successful 12 week period there is a guaranteed full time role as a Quality Control Operator with our client

Please note that below shift pattern is set and anyone applying for this work would need to comply with it:

Working days/hours:
  • Twilight times: 16:10 to 21:25 Monday to Wednesday , 16:10 to 22:25 Thursdays - 22 hours per week
Pay Rate: 
  • £15.34 per hour
