Xyla Health & Social Services support local authorities and ICB’s by providing health and social work services on a managed outcomes basis.Since 2015 they have delivered over 70 projects to more than 45 Local Authorities and ICBs throughout the UK, across Health services and Adult’s and Children’s social care services.

Due to the growth, Xyla Health & Social Services are looking for a Quality Assurer to champion their vision of providing an excellent standard of service, ensuring equitable assessments across XHSS’s various workstreams and projects. You will quality assure assessments to a high standard and continuously uphold best practice across XHSS projects.

This is a role that requires work on specific project types as demand requires, adopting a flexible and adaptable approach. You will work with the project team in achieving key project milestones through the robust quality assurance of assessments in line with statutory legislation, best practice, and client requirements.


Every day you will…

  • Quality assure Project Social Workers completed assessments in line with relevant statutory legislation and code of practice.
  • Provide and receive feedback to/from Social Workers to develop excellent delivery standards.
  • Provide guidance to a team of Social Workers and assist to develop practice.
  • Participate in Project meetings as and when required.
  • Quality assure to the needs and stipulations of the client, taking into consideration relevant legislation, case law and best practice.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

  • A qualification in Social Work and Best Interest Assessor
  • Extensive experience in a social work role
  • Proven experience in a managerial/supervisor capacity and best interests assessor role
  • Evidence of continued professional development
