The role is for a Quality Assurance Administrator

Key objective

To maintain appropriate records for the efficient operation of the company’s Quality Assurance management system, and to provide clerical and administrative support to the members of the Quality Assurance team in both the UK and Far East

Main tasks & responsibilities
  • Providing clerical and administrative support to members of the Quality Assurance team in both the UK and Far East
  • Tracking products under test to make sure results are received on time
  • Reporting all test results to relevant stakeholders of the product/brand and provide an easy to understand summary to non-technical colleagues
  • Ensuring all QA quality records are filed and stored in an efficient manner - accuracy is critical
  • Assisting with the arrangement and organisation of 3rd party QC bookings
  • Approving artworks for product componentry in line with customer requirements and legislation
  • Drafting quality assurance policies and procedures where needed
  • Any duties, necessary to complete tasks appropriate to the department
  • Raising testing request forms on the ITS portal system in a systematic organised manner
  • Liaising directly with the Far East factory base to convey all testing requirements
  • Working with the factory supplier base to ensure all products are sent for appropriate test in a timely fashion in accordance with the production schedule and product specification
  • Working closely with the Far East testing laboratories and factory supplier base to resolve any testing failures
  • Analysing test report findings
  • Logging all technical data in the testing chart data bases so both Far East and UK teams have full visibility
  • Maintaining product testing records and costs associated with the test

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, outlook, excel and databases
  • Ability to resolve administrative problems in a fast, efficient manner
  • Excellent communication skills vital, both verbal and written
  • Ability to produce consistently accurate work even whilst under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting demands
  • Previous administrative experience & business admin qualifications are essential
  • Ability to type at least 60+ wpm
