Wizard Staff Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their well-established client based in Oxford who are looking to develop and invest in dedicated and committed individuals who are passionate about the Childcare sector.
Salary: £14,500 - £17,000
Holiday: 20 Days plus Bank Holidays
Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
Purpose of the Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner
To identify and follow the best practice within the nursery, making sure it is maintained and safe for the children. To ensure each individual child within the room is cherished, happy and stimulated with appropriate activities. To provide incredible service to each child, so that they get what they want, creating a trusting and friendly atmosphere within your setting.
Ensuring children have access to learning materials and opportunities throughout their time at the nursery.
Providing learning activities which are educational, stimulating and fun.
Following policies and procedures at all times.
You will have responsibility for key children - following closely the development and progress of these children, developing strong working relationships with the parents and communicating about the child's development on a daily basis.
Carrying out learning activities which are educational, stimulating and help with the children's development.
Ensuring your knowledge on Safeguarding, Behaviour Management and Whistleblowing is up to date.
Complete learning journals on a daily basis.
To ensure you are in ratio at all times.
Level 3 qualified in Childcare/Early Years
To liaise and develop good relationships with parents
Experience of working with children under the age of five years old.
Good communication skills
To be a team player
