Salary: £55,000 + 10% fee bonus (uncapped)
Working Hours: Flexi hours throughout the week

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic Corporate Finance Advisers business who are looking to recruit a qualified Accountant on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Northampton office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The strategy is to concentrate on helping clients to make money by buying and selling shares in private companies and raising finance to grow their businesses. These can be life changing events.
• The approach is built around having a long-term partnership with clients, and adding real value by managing deals from the initial thought process, through to a successful conclusion.
• Our client handles acquisitions, disposals, management buy outs, management 'buy ins' and fund raising for clients across all sectors. They normally work on a success fee basis which leads to a partnership approach with clients and a results orientated culture.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Successful candidates will be qualified Accountants, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This is no ordinary job therefore our client is seeking creative and lateral thinking people to provide innovative yet appropriate solutions for your clients.
• The ability to work successfully in a small team is vital, as is a high level of energy, commitment and self-motivation needed to be successful in this very unusual commercial role. A knowledge of financial modelling is required.
• No corporate finance experience at all, but who is entrepreneurial and fulfils the rest of the criteria.
• No direct corporate finance experience, but has had more commercial role in industry and perhaps has an awareness of M&A
• Worked in corporate finance, in a due diligence role
