As Quality and Technical Manager, the appointed applicant will play a crucial role in the continued, drive and success of a multi-site function and report into the Board of Directors.
Based at the company's head office in the beautiful and dramatic landscape of West Cornwall the purpose of this role is to ensure the quality, responsibility, legality, safety of all produce along with developing strategy and delivery of site based continued improvement and technical matters.
With a proven leadership background in a production, preferably food related, environment the successful applicant will demonstrate working knowledge, practice and administration surrounding Due Diligence, BRC Audit, Health & Safety, HACCP as a minimum and be fully aware of the team surrounding, building excellent partnerships with suppliers, stake holders, customers and colleagues as well as holding experience of working with high performing teams and specialists in order to address matters such as customer feedback, incidents, product specifications as well supporting the technical critical paths for further product development and change.
Additional to this a solid working command of MS Office products along with the ability to build solid, commercial, working relationships, using data to make real-time, informed decisions, being open-minded in the approach to work and being able to prioritise and plan work in order to best benefit the business are all required attributes to fulfil this role successfully.
