Salary circa 50-55k pa plus bonus

Our client is looking to take onboard a QA Analyst with both Front End & Back End experience. 

Experience and qualification in this area is a must.

Duties included but not limited to:-

• Test Planning: agreeing testing requirements and approach; writing test scripts for specific scenarios; validating the change delivered against requirements.
• Test execution: executing test scripts; documenting test activities in Test rail / Jira; reporting test activities
• Ensuring components and features are tested, and behave in a consistent manner, reviewing and analysing
• Raising, triaging and managing defects within our internal management system. Implementing and maintaining test cases.
• Quality focused and with a commitment to best practice.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to describe complex subject matter to internal and offshore teams.

Skills

• Experience testing web, desktop and/or mobile software
• Manual & Automation Testing
• Ability to prioritise based on project demands and risk
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to write clear test conditions / cases & analyse
• Knowledge of manual test techniques - test rail or equivalent
• Technical skills: Confluence, Jira, JavaScript, Python, Power BI, Soap UI, SQL, Postman, RESTful
• Working in phases of the test delivery life cycle including creation of Test Strategy / Plan documentation. Test Governance, Design, Estimation, Defect Triage, Defect Report, Execution, Test Progress Reporting and Test Closure
• Android and iOS familiarity& understand of APIs
• Websockets knowledge is desirable or equivalent i.e HTTP protocol
• Understanding concepts, architecture & frameworks

You will be required to attend the office in Basingstoke daily.
