Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic educational environment? We are seeking a Purchase Ledger to join our team at a School in Ipswich. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Position Overview:
This position is part-time, four days across the week from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The role is based at a Primary School in Ipswich and you will be required to travel to 4 other schools within the Cambridge area. This includes overseeing purchase ledger activities and end-of-month processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Travel to other school locations as required within the Cambridge area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in finance, specifically in purchase ledger and end-of-month processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
