- Job Type: Temporary - 8 weeks (possibility of becoming a permanent role)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable professional to join a prestigious interior design firm. This role will ensure responsibility of day-to-day accounts payable, credit card and staff expense transactions for the UK companies, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Post accounts payable related cash payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements regularly.
- Address invoice queries promptly, liaising with other departments and suppliers as necessary, and escalate issues where required.
- Set up new vendors in the accounting system accurately.
- Manage staff expenses processing and payment.
- Handle company credit cards, ensuring transactions are processed promptly and all receipts are collected from cardholders.
- Maintain the finance mailbox and ensure all communications are managed effectively.
About you:
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, particularly during month-end.
- Capable of prioritising work and flexible enough to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to work, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
