Purchase ledger clerk required on a long term contract basis. You will be responsible for posting high volume invoices, this will involve matching invoices to delivery notes and coding them to the relevant cost centres. This person is expected to manage supplier queries and reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.

The successful purchase ledger clerk will have exceptional attention to detail, works methodically with excellent communication skills. You will be a candidate who is self motivated and able to work under your own initiative. Previous experience within purchase ledger and knowledge of a computerised accounting systems is essential.

My client is a medium sized firm based in Tamworth, the successful candidate will become part of a small accounting team and support initially on a temporary basis for an ongoing period. They have onsite parking and are easily accessible via public transport.
